One Laptop per Child
In 2008, SC Superintendent Jim Rex said that outfitting SC classrooms with the XO educational laptop could have a bigger impact on improving education than anything else SC educators can do. So, the SC New Democrats, along with the Palmetto Project and the SC Department of Education, have teamed up to tackle this project head on. To date, over 3,000 laptops have been distributed around the state, but we've only just begun...
